Happy New Year, friend! I want to start this post off by giving all Glory to God. I encourage you to do the same. So before you go any further, take a moment to Thank God for all that He has done.
PRAISE
Well... congratulations, you did '23 well. Whether you had a struggle of a year or a breakthrough year, God kept you. And guess what? He'll continue to keep you. He's good. He's faithful. His love for you is effortless. It's spotless and clean; pure and genuine. I urge you to remind yourselves of His love when you feel the race has been lost or just feel like surrendering to life's challenges. His love will carry you. It'll wake you up out of that slumber, break chains and open the doors to freedom just like Peter.
As I'm always instructed to do, I encourage you to trust the Lord with His vision for your life. My prayer for you is that your thoughts will become His thoughts; your desires will become His desires; His will over yours. This is beyond just an ordinary vision; this is a God-ordained vision that only God can carry out. All God asks for you to do is to surrender yourself. Place it at His feet-- all worry, control, unforgiveness, fear, anger and whatever else that is holding you from experiencing all that He has for you. I am declaring Psalm 34 over your life and I hope you will, as well.
Psalm 34:1-8
I will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul shall make its boast in the Lord;
The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
Oh, magnify the Lord with me,
And let us exalt His name together.
I sought the Lord, and He heard me,
and delivered me from all my fears.
They looked to Him and were radiant,
and their faces were not ashamed.
This poor man cried out, and the Lord
heard him,
And saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the Lord encamps
all around those who fear Him,
and delivers them.
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
